With the arrival of the HD or high definition projector the home cinema experience moves from being nothing more than idle day dreaming to full blown reality. We can now watch TV, watch films or play games consoles in massive 92 inch picture size in the comfort of your own home through an HD projector.
It used to be that HD projectors were very expensive. Now they are reliable, portable and of sufficient build quality to be a very realistic option for the home. Not only this but the HD projector now costs a similar price to many LCD or Plasma screens meaning that we could buy an HD projector instead.
The more common LCD television may well be caught up by the home cinema HD projector combination in the UK as popularity grows. In fact all you need is the ability to house an HD projector screen and the home cinema experience may well become a reality for you.
HD projector prices may seem cheap, but don’t think that cheap means junk. For as little as £500 you should manage to buy a decent quality HD projector that I don’t think would disappoint you. However if you are willing to spend a little more you could get one of the best HD projectors out there for still under £1000.
This will blow you away. You can get at this price a top of the range HD projector filled with lots and lots of the most recent functionality. Why not spend that little bit extra on your HD projector. If you do you may just get fantastic performance from your home cinema instead of just ordinary results.
The current HD projector market for home cinemas has two different variants of technology. The choice is between the LCD and the DLP HD projectors. They are slightly different but despite this both offer very good quality. The LCD HD projector is less expensive but still provides a really good quality picture that will not impair your viewing in any way.By selecting the DLP HD projector you definitely achieve the highest and smoothest picture quality and overall performance.
